Capucins Workshops

A glass and steel cathedral and an exceptional space in one of the most emblematic areas of Brest, testimony to both the city's industrial past and its openness to the future.

A glass and steel cathedral and an exceptional space in one of the most emblematic areas of Brest, testimony to both the city's industrial past and its openness to the future.

The Capucins Workshops sheltered Brest's know-how in the field of shipbuilding. Decommissioned and then returned to the city by the Navy including the 16ha of the Capucins Workshops, it is simply a part of downtown that has been reopened to the public in November 2016.

The architectural structure and some of the machines have been preserved, a true historical heritage, has remained in place, but everything else has changed: the Capucins Workshops have become a luminous space at the crossroads of culture, economy and the digital.

Have your attendees fly over the city using the cable car, the first of its kind in France, and invite them to enter the three giant naves of the Workshops. Invest the 10,000 m² indoor space, one of the largest in Europe. Organize this space as you see fit for your general meetings, seminars, exhibitions, trade shows, cocktails ...

An adjoining auditorium with a seating capacity of 195 can also host your conferences, debates, screenings ...
