BBS (Brest Business School)
A private higher education institution, Member of the Conference of “Grandes Ecoles”, Brest Business School is the business school of Brest. It welcomes 750 students, 15% of whom are international students and 15% engineers in all of its Breton campuses. It is a place of education but also a meeting place for entrepreneurs since it includes the headquarters of "Produced in Brittany", an incubator, as well as professional clubs and networks.
CESI (Campus of higher education and vocational training)
A network of higher education and professional training campus, CESI allows students, apprentices and workers to take part in the transformation of society and of companies, in particular though its Schools of Engineering. They offer to apprentice engineers a five-year individualized course under student status, in apprenticeship or continuous training. Each year, 2,400 engineers graduate in 4 fields of specialization : general engineering, computing & digital, building & constructions, electrical and electronical embedded systems.
The EESAB (European School of Art of Brittany)
Composed of four sites (Lorient, Quimper, Rennes and Brest), it has 900 students that gives it the status of the largest French art school. EESAB trains its students in art, communication and design. It is part of the European degree scheme and thus promotes student mobility. Beyond its traditional university curriculum, students are trained in administrative, legal and economic fields, linked to the artistic professional environment.
The ENIB (National Engineering School of Brest)
The ENIB is a public school that trains general engineers, in 5 years, in the fields of electronics, computer science and mechatronics. The school has strong links with high-level research, the business world, on an international scale.
ENSTA Bretagne (National School of Advanced Engineering Brittany)
ENSTA Bretagne is a public institution of higher education, under the supervision of the General Directorate of Armaments (Ministry of the Armed Forces). It has 900 students including 18% military engineers and 20% international students. It trains civil and military engineers in the fields of high technology, mechanical sciences, information technology, business sciences and marine engineering.
The Naval ACADEMY
For more than 200 years, the Naval Academy has been at the center of major maritime challenges, training sailors and officers of today and tomorrow. Since 2017, the school has become a public institution of scientific, cultural and professional character. However, it remains a large establishment under the authority of the Ministry of the Armed Forces, its primary mission is to train the students that the Navy entrusts to it every year.

ESIAB / UBO (Higher School of Food Engineers of Brittany)
ESIAB is an internal school at UBO, University of Western Brittany. It has 300 students and apprentices and trains future managers in the fields of production and innovation of quality and sanitation. The 23 teacher-researchers of the teaching team are all members of UBO research laboratories.
IMT atlantiqUE (Institut Mines-Télécom Atlantique Bretagne-Pays de la Loire)
The result of the merger of Télécom Bretagne and École Mines Nantes, the IMT Atlantique has integrated, in its first year of existence, the top 10 of the 2018 ranking of the engineering schools of the newspaper l'Etudiant. Atlantic IMT trains engineers in science and information technology. It has 2300 students including 1400 engineers, 12 research chairs and 100% of students that do an international internship. Combining digital and energy to transform society and industry through training, research and innovation is its vocation.
ISEN Brest (Higher Institute of Electronics and Digital Brest)
ISEN is a private institution that trains engineers specialized in high technology and digital technology in five years. Its research activities are developed with the other ISEN campuses of France and the Naval School. The Brest campus has state-of-the-art research facilities such as a connected room, sea trials, four research departments and three industrial chairs.
